jenanne’s linen shirt

my good friend jenanne sent this gorgeous linen shirt which had an underarm rip. i thought this would be a good candidate for a sashiko-style mend and she was on board. i put a samey cotton patch as backing and worked some freehand patterns in. the end result is distinctive and so interesting!
