courtney’s merino
i tell you what, mending this merino base layer nearly ended me. i had been used to mending larger knit pieces and working on this tiny scale was so challenging. while i was mending it, my dad asked “why doesn’t she just throw it out and buy something else?”. i told him that the hours (hours!!) i spent mending it would keep something in use and out of the landfill. i think he got it, and courtney’s merino is fixed in time for the next mushroom season.
